The only one I've seen is just outside the Whompas in Borry. I know I'm going to get a Yalm for my new Dancer on RK2. But other than that, I can't decide. So many nifty fun toys!!

Hey Lynx, I did offer to get somebody to smash you... or buy you a shot.

Personally I already had quite a bit of enjoyment walking around with my "Neutral 4 Life" placard in-hand. Must remember to upload the pics of me & the placard in the Pande gardens. :)

Lynx, you know, they didn't have to do anything at all. I say it's nice even if it is primarily worthless crap. Lots of people bitching about this thing on the AO forums and it really bugs me.

Just a question: what would impress you?

Personally Im glad no uber items were given in the veteran shops. the healing thing is nice, and the garden warp. the rest is all cool social stuff like the teddy bears, the santa suit, old christmas gifts. Ive been playing for 3 years now, and I dont deserve something uber just because Ive played AO 2years8months longer then fr00b joe over there. I like my hockey stick though, its cool, makes me feel like casey jones from the ninja turtles cartoons/movies lol overall Im happy with the veteran shops, because like Valli says, they didnt have to do anything, and Ive always heard "Its the thought that counts"

Half the items look like they were designed by a first year graphics student (the demon/angel lamps for example).

The other half..I definatly wish to know their inspiration for the Shark items, as humerous as they are.

It's not as much as I dislike them..as much as some of the items (for the...strange factor) should actually end up being something one could get anywhere.

Still..I suppose the thought does count. I do like the deal with the yalms. Makes allot of the peopel (like myself) who make all entierly too many alts (and *gasp*) actually level them beyond level 4, very handy. Always a pain to get those.

Will be looking forward down the road to see if they introduce more items (I belive I remember hearing they might do such a thing down the road).

Dont take it the wrong way..my lack of impression was mainly the idea of "why dod you put 3 actual items in the shop that have a actual use..and the rest of the stuff "social"? Would have rather the whole mess be "social". Why do you ask? because those few items are usefull enough..it will breed bitching and complaning by those who cant get such.

Still waiting for me to be able to get the Hat ive been wanting for ages. 30k years in the future..and they cant figure out how to make a hat that doesnt glow..or have a twirly blade on it :)

Sorta off topic, but standing at the Vet Shop the first day I got a tell from a guy asking "I'm level 150, why don't I have any points?" Needless to say I explained it to him and I'm pretty sure he was a fr00b. Though if a total fr00b with no SL, getting to 150 that quickly is somewhat impressive.
