Hadn't had the chance to check it out til today. It look simply awesome. I think I'll need to see this one in the theater.

I had to call the hubby into the office to see the preview. I definitely hope it does well in the limited release and we get to see it in the theatres in a city close enough that we can see it before it gets released on DVD.

Billing it as a trilogy already? Seems a tad early unless the studio is willing to put 2 more out even if it would flop. Not too many can come out promising a trilogy at the outset. Looks interesting but I'd also take a longer version of Underworld too

The only problem is, I'm hearing that the film isn't going to be the same as the one that was shown in theatres all over Russia. Fox apparently reshot a few scenes, removed a few, and created new scenes as well. I'm didn't get from the site whether they decided to dub it or to go with subtitles, either.

The best part is that it's a trilogy. So we can expect 2 more. It's based on three novels that are written by a popular russian science fiction author. The disappointment is that these three books are not translated into english. In other words, unless the movie proves to be popular over here, I have doubts on whether we will ever be able to see what the author's intent was unless we somehow learn to read russian.
