Horoscopes... Freaky.
Have you ever picked up a magazine or newspaper and read your horoscope and found something so dreadfully accurate it's scary? I have this funny Astrology Source software that I occassionally enter my birthday into to find out what my horoscope is, just for shits and grins. I understand the basic logical premise behind horoscopes and throwing a wide net has to catch somebody on some day that it might be accurate. But when it does apply to you, it feels kinda weird.
Mine today said that I'll go through serious changes at work this week, with the departure of a coworker, and that I'm being uncharacteristically frugal with my money.
My staff assistant quit unexpectedly this last week, and tomorrow I'm having to cover for her and hire and train her replacement, and just last night I told Mike we couldn't go out for our weekly milkshakes because I was worried about our bank balance.
Sure, it's spring time and so lots of people are changing their jobs, and it's tax season so people are all worried about money. It felt eerie just the same.
