Could someone lecture me abou the predator aliens? Please? I know there are alot of AVP junkies around here and i got curious after watching a bit of the movie. I could rant about how horrible it was that Arnold didnt get killed and have his spine and skull torn from his body... but that's not important....

Lecture me please! I wish to be enlightened.

its not horrible that arnold didnt get his head ripped off... SOMEONE had to be tough enough to stand up to that fugger


idea is now, that predators exploited humans as a means to breed aliens to fight.

anyone wanna add on top of that?

The Alien and the Predator are two diff creatures. Now I know you were refering to the Predator, but it's just to set it straight.

And what are you talking about "horrible"!? Pfft! Heathen!
That thing was made before you started thinking, so cut it some slack^^
It's a master piece of story telling! (Yeah ok, it's total crap, but ya gotta love it all the same!)

Well he's referring to the Predator race. To us they are just as much aliens as the Aliens are. Predator is a lackluster movie in my eyes sorry. Especially when we bring the other into view. Alien & Aliens are classic masterpieces of the cinema.

Anyway, Predators are basically an alien race which seems to thrive and be obsessed with "the hunt" as it is. They like to travel around the galaxy and find different things to challenge their hunting skills(or die easily so they can rip out their spines). In the first movie all we really got was basically that & that at least that time they came here to hunt us humans. Later on it started getting more complicated, they eventually paired Predators & Aliens in stories(I think maybe the comic books were the beginning of that)and made more of a backstory of their pursuits other than just in a bad 80s movie.

I like what u said boinky, that is kind of what i wanted though it can be loaded with every single detail, cause i'm into the details....
