I love the snow. This means that the snow fort that my friend Jesse and I made (complete with ice M136 chainguns) won't melt before I get back from vacation :D

D00D!! p3wnd :D

I hate the snow, i'm tired of it. Why cant it do something more original like hail. that's fun.... :P

I've seen more hail in Texas than I saw living in Canada. It sucks, particularly if you don't have a garage. I'd trade the rain we've had for the past 2 months for snow ANY day.

Well, maybe y'all should come down here to Houston. It's a sunny 65 today, with a slight breeze. Feels warmer in the sun though. :P

You're in Houston? Well, I'll be. You're less than an hour away from me, Coltess.

Yup. Go to school in Clear Lake and live at the southern end of Lake Houston. Can't actually see the lake though. Well, except when it rains a lot. Then I can just hop in the ditch and get swept all the way to the lake

You know, San Deigo in Cali would be nice right now.

All this talk of hot weather and sun...bah.

Then again, I'm not crazy about snow either. :P

Give me eternal fall...that's what I want.

See, for me, if it's gonna snow, I want it to be worth my while. None of this piddly ass stuff we've been getting this winter. I want to be dumped on. Today I was pissed about the snow too. I was pissed because we got one inch, that very promptly froze solid. My car was encrusted in ice when I left work. I hate that.

Generally, I love something about every season. I can't imagine living somewhere that didn't experience a detectable change of seasons.

It never snows in Florida.

Hmm possibly not, but you guys do get really cold stints sometimes & then thousands of people get in accidents cause of a few slick roads.

Personally I'd have much less against snow if it was polite enough to stay off roads, driveways & sidewalks.

That's because people in Florida also drive around with Firestone tires and they're always bald.

Also, I've heard that Snow's arch-villain is known as salt and mr. snow plow. These villainous forces unite to make sure that snow cannot get on the road. Or at least, get enough of it on your sidewalk so your car is buried in slush.

It actually has snowed in FL before. I live up near Pensacola FL, and it has snowed 3 or 4 times since Ive moved here in 1990. Although it was never more than 1 inch, and was always gone shortly after it stopped.

Here in seattle has had some record highs recently. Mid 60's for this time of the year. ^_^ Pretty impressive. Also, twice the temps recorded on the east coast currently. :-D

My thoughts Nex; anywhere west side is a better place than where you are. ;) tempature wise.

West Coast folks got it made for temperature. You guys get the warm winds coming in off the ocean, while over here we get the stuff that's been chilled to perfection by the mountains or maybe imported from Canada. And after it's done with us it heads over to Nex's neck of the woods and gives them some chilly goodness too. Can't complain too much though. Global warming is here & I know the winters the last 5+ years have not been near some of the crappy ones we've had in the past.

Pensacola? Hmm, just go and join Georgia, you're close enough.

Seriously, it's even snowed where I have. A couple flakes. Back in the 80's. No big deal. It still doesn't snow in Florida.

OH GAWD!!!! I'm still thawing... you see after the snow, the wind decided to kick in, at oh a gentle 50 mph, blowing about oh.... -10 degree cold along it... oh yeah and for those unfamilliar with snow... it turns into ice... oh yeah, there was an emergency at midnight that forced me to run out at midnight into 50 mph -10 degree wind with snow-now-ice on the ground... oh yeah it was fun...

They are saying snow this weekend, FFS!
