What now?

Postby Mumon » Sat Sep 04, 2004 2:53 am

So I have a head now. Do I still call myself the Cow Monster? The Cow Monster realy did predate my no headedness...

But clearly I can't call myself the Headless Cow Monster anymore. And I obviously can't keep using "Dude where is your head at" as my theme song...

So any suggestions?

I'm thinking about having my new theme song being "Cows with Guns" But as I am currently a shade, it doesn't realy work.

Good idea Tipper

Soldier, Fixer, Adventure? (Or other, did I miss any of them that primary weapon is a gun? I don't consider the Crat as a gun totter but more of a Nano Totter)

Why not be the only Shade/CowMonster using a gun?

Gun line? Hmm you imply many upgrades, when cleary you must use a Redline Grenade Launcher and getting just 1 around level 45 or so will cost 5 Mil or so and last you a lifetime.

Note: Of course you'd have to be a Shade/Engineer to use one, but I was on a roll with that idea - sue me

Ah you seem to have misunderstood my question when I said Gun Line.

For instance most fixers use Mausser Particle Streamers that require MG/SMG + Burst
But if they train in MG/SMG + Burst, they could also perhaps use the Augias X-11 Ejector with no further special training.

Or if a Fixer wanted to be a bit different than other fixers they could train in Full Auto also and use the Balanced Suppressor

So my question is I guess if I'm to be a shade with a gun, what types of guns should I try to be able to use?

(As a side note I looked up on Auno how many items require Alien Level so far, and it only gave me 10 items and all of them are for the NTs... what's up with that? See? )

Oh perfect... flamethrower. But seriously should I try to do the flame thrower as a shade or should I reroll and be a Soldier.

Hmm... From a NON social gaming point of view... how far do you plan to take this toon?

If the answer is past lvl 10... Shade/flamethrower will glide as painlessly as a Nazi at a Bart Mizvah.

Go Soldier... Perniscious Armour looks well wicked, and it goes nicly with the new Alien guns! ^^

Or go shade and get some energy rapiers... Damn those are sweet!

I plan on going as far as I feel like going. Believe it or not I do level with Mumon (Though it might look like I've flat lined him). As for just looking cool, thats great and all but I need there to be a theme behind it.

Mumon almost always wears the black leather outfit unless I'm feeling goofy (all right so I feel goofy alot), and there is a logic behind it (Come on a cow that wears leather? Don't we all just see the wonderfulness of it?)

I see the logic behind a cow with a flamethrower (I'll show you medium rare!), but I don't quiet see the logic behind shade other than the Monster part of Mumon's name. And even then he's sort of lost some of his monster hood when AO gave him back his head.
