I was just wondering if Gridstream will be starting its own city when Alien Invasion goes live? If so, what will its name be?

I think it's a very ligitimate question whether GSP will have the resources for such a thing. Maybe some beta-testers know details, but I sure don't. I can't imagine it's gonna be cheap, though.

As for a name...

Red Light District?

There is allready a Red Light District in Omni-1 I think (been offworld for a long time)

I like the Hummingbird High, but I was more thinking of setting up Pimp Central in the GSP Village.

I don't think you guys usually do this sort of thing, but if it will cost a bit to get a city (or maybe for the upkeep) I suggest having a fundraising event just to benefit GSP. And as far as the tradeskills involved to make the buildings though unknown as of yet, if I have the needed skills I will help you, and got a few guildies who have more than me that I can probably draft into service for ya if required.

They ougtha, or at least build GSP a very nice building somewhere, with a line of busts of all the DJs in the hall.

They can't do a line of busts... Think about it, not all DJ's are hall of fame yet, and who is to choose which are? That would be off... And besides... X's ingame self isn't that well known... And he SHOULD be there!

I dunno, on TnT it was said that towns were possible, but costly... So I guess you guys better go do some dynaboss campin or som'n... Or do a fundraiser like Boinky said!

one thing to think of though... i haven't heard anything on it, but in org towns will it be possible to construct a club? i definately think fc should build a town or club for gsp for their game contribution (not that they dj every big fc event or anything). something large enough for people but with the lighting effects like the small bar outside omni ent that i can't remember the name of atm. i wanna say rest but i'm sure somebody knows what i'm talking about, the color-wheel type light or a multicolor scanning light moving around the dance floor.

I was just thinking about that teddy bear that was acutioned off for what was it... 400 mil?

Now I don't know about you, but if there are people with 400 mil around to just drop it on a teddy bear, that means that the cities will either be god auful expensive (sence it's supposted to require like a whole org working on it) or it won't be that god awful. In that case, I bet you GSP has enough people that love them so much it would not be hard for them to get the money to build a city. (I can almost see GSP building a City with but one building in it, and everyone else building up around it making a metropolis.)

Ooh! And they could have walk-ways... And we could have Necromunda sessions on them, and heavy stubbers and, erh... Right, shutting up...
