Browswer Wars II

[Nexeus]

Just like the world war, there was a second one... this time... the world war is happening on the Internet. With everyone saying that the Browser wars were done and through, it seems that a regime is slowly falling, to everybody’s surprise. Here http://www.wired.com/news/infostructure ... 65,00.html in Wired, it is suggested not just through them, but also the US Gov’t Agency (I don't remember the name, nor am I writing an article), that people should leave IE, and head over to Mozilla/Firefox. The same comes from a magazine Slate http://slate.msn.com/id/2103152/ which is OWNED BY MICROSOFT in which the article states that Firefox kicks IE's ass.
Even though the IE team has said that they are back to developing and working on the IE core, and in the upcoming months may see some released for IE (not a new browser but extension to them).
Granted though, being that Mozilla has become the most popular thing now since toasted bread - Mozilla's dominance may really just be a switch over from one regimes hand to another, being that although Mozilla is a non-for profit organization, it still has ties to AOL being that it is the core of the Netscape Browser (Netscape being owned my AOL), and we all know how great AOL has been with the other regime holder Steve Case (whom I'm not sure if working for AOL anymore, but still - point made if it's not case, it's the person that runs AOL whom is owned by Time Warner, yadda, yadda, yadda).
With Winamp being also owned by the same franchise... are we really taking steps foreword, or handing everything from one monopoly owner to another?
(Still, Firefox/Mozilla kick's IE's ass... I've been using it Netscape since 6.0 - and now its just a polished beauty).

Yeah, Mozilla has many more capabilities than IE but IE is more embedded in the system. And that makes it much more easy to use. I prolly just lazy to edit that though. yeah... saw that new movie, "The Corporation"
