my parents and I walked into a cafe and I asked for a bagel, she acknowledged me and then asked what kind of cream cheese I wanted, (plain of course...) and she said they only had strawberry cream cheese. my mom thought I was asking for a bagel at that moment and thought that the clerk was trying to sell me cream cheese so, confused, my mom pointed her finger at a bagel and said like a inquisitive baby, "bagel?" then said confidently with a smile, "Thats a bagel." thinking that the clerk didnt know what a bagel was. my dad and I couldn't stop laughing at how out of reality my mom was at that moment.
