Well, my dad decided to ban me from my computer for a month for some jack-shit reason of spending too much time on it, so if you dont see me around any time soon, you'll know why. Apparently Im not doing enough with my friends, when I spend all day every saturday with them, and more during the week, so I guess he wants me to live off other people. If you sense an undertone of anger in this post, then I've done something wrong. It shouldnt have been an undertone. I dont understand what banning me from the god damn computers benefit will be. In all likelyhood, I'll spend the time I would've spent on the computer just watching TV, and thats just because its the most entertainment I get outside of dont something or other on my computer. I just cant fucking believe that he's banning me from touching computers. With me, thats like chopping off my legs and telling me to run a mile. If anything, I'll come out of this in worse condition than when I entered, the exact opposite of what my dad expects to happen. Well, my dad just yelled at me for taking too long, so I guess I'll see you all in a month.

Your dad may be more right than you're ready to admit. You have your whole life to sit in front of a computer, bro. Enjoy your youth while you've got it.

Defintely. I minimize home activities as much as possible. Friends are where the funs at.

Rather then just sitting at the TV, find something else to catch your interests.. You never know what you might find.. Hobby, sport, good book.. etc. Just take the month and see what you can do with it.. You'll regret that you sat here rather than went out with the buds.
Cya in a month hon

I'm not about to tell anyone to spend less time in front of the computer or whatever. For some, it's what they connect with more than offline activities, and I respect that enough to not go around teasing people for monitor brand tans.
I'll tell you though, I'd personally much rather be out than on the computer. Out dancing, out with friends, having a good time and being all out wild and crazy (minus the flashing and the dvd comercials on latenight cable).
Rather than fume being banned, look at it as an opertunity. ^_^ Find something you'd like to do, and grab some friends, and go do it!

I'd try and say something inspirational about not using the 'puter more, but I won't cause I don't practise that behaviour myself. Besides, it seems sorta pointless right now if Tacz is banned - he's not gonna being seeing this for awhile

Guys, do any of you know Tacz personally?

You can't tell Tacz to just not use the computer. I know exactly how he is when it comes to that. imagine not being able to go out with your friends for a year, and you won't even begin to know what Tacz felt when his father banned him. (Actually, It was very amusing to hear Tacz swear.) Anyway, what I'm trying to say is this: Tacz won't find a hobby. He will paintball a lot and sit in front of the TV a lot.
Nothing can change who we are, but we must choose how to act on that.
well...

If I didn't have the computer I would go crazy....oh wait, I am crazy....well crazier then....hehe. Babysitters cost way to much so its either this or watch TV after the girls are in bed. I find this much more entertaining.

That and after working with people who could care less about thier jobs and then come home to "mommy mommy, she is hitting me again!" all afternoon its nice to chat with adults a bit before heading to bed. hehe
As I said, its what keeps me sane so I think in small doses its a good thing.

Of course some of us spend way to much time in front of a computer. (you know who you are) And thats not a good thing. Go, live life, plant roses like MsIce!

I'm out in my yard doing something almost every day when its warm enough. Its very good for the soul.
