I'm just a tad bit curious. I had to uninstall Kazaa lite, due to my gaining a nasty virus (It turns out it came either from email, or dwarves came in and installed it...I Have no damn idea how I got it, or how to stop it), and when I went to try and reinstall it...

Ta-Da! Kazaa lite was shut down. Now, there is a good deal it seems from their normal main page. 19.99 a year, unlimited downloads, download everything and anything (Sounds like what Kazaa lite was, just with a yearly cost). I really don't have a problem with that, as long as I can find a broad range of music, and so on. :)

In short, does anyone have an idea on how this New Kazaa is, and if not, what is a better p2p program to use?

Just look for someone who has the install file for K++. Someone out there has to have it.

In fact I found the very thing you need:

Enjoy!

Kazaa Lite K++ is a better option, imo. It is spyware free, but is still Kazaa. I personally use bearshare, as it has more features, and I am just more used to it.

winmx is pretty good, i wouldnt call it user friendly for the vision impaired tho..."ok, resume download...wait, no, i didnt click cancel!! no!! ah crap..damn buttons..too small". kazaa lite ++ is nice, ive used for a while now and i havent gotten any bugs or viruses, not even a popup gen (altohught i wouldnt worry much about that. avant browser roxxors). also, if u really want, check morphious. just dont b a gimp and pay for some p2p software when u can get it for free eh?

my biggest problem with winmx is that its not user friendly, and seems to have alot of users coming up on hits that have REALLY slow connections. Morpheus suxxors, imo. After I ran a spyware check on regular kazaa, I vowed to never use it again (no less than 4 adbots). Yes, I pay for bearshare.. but so far, it gives me the best response times, fastest DL, and has the most "real" hits on my searches. (not to mention I can be an ultrapeer w/o sharing any files)

Always fun to note people making it obvious they're doing things the RIAA would disapprove of.. in the general section of the forums of a internet radio station.. that gets it's laws and rules from said RIAA.. *scratches head* Might want to think about this one a little more guys. lol

I don't like them any more than the next guy, but they're the people with the plug.
