Aside from feeling like something died in my mouth overnight, i'm pretty good. Well, i'm still trying to figure out what was up with the dreams i had, but otherwise i'm alive.

Oh, and any new years resolutions?

i feel much better now, after i puked all night and morning. poor otori had to take care of me all day. hehe. my resolution is to lose 25 lbs or 2 dress sizes

Right as rain me!... Ok, I slept till 5 in the evening... but still...
And as for new years resolutions...
Get drunk faster, save more money that way!
Remember to buy stuff for next new years, as new years eve is boring if you can't blow shit up!

On that account, is it true that in America, only the army and certain licenced peeps can shoot fire works?
A friend told me... Had a hard time believing it, as it's apocalypse over here every year... We blow up pretty much anything and everything! Great fun!

Most people can fire fireworks within reason, unless the county they are in has laws against it (for instance, if my memory is right, Washington, D.C. has laws against firing fireworks, unless you are authorized to do so, like on the 4th of July).

However, the fireworks you can use are mostly the small kind that don't fire anything up above like 20 feet. But you wouldn't know that if you were here last night.

I swear to god, my neighbors stole some fireworks from the display at the Washington Monument last July. Ichyro and I thought they were firing mortars.

Forgot to add my resolution, heh.

I resolve to lose some weight and to actually write a book (current goal is about 300 pages, give or take a few)

in texas, you can get just about anything for fireworks (including professional grade mortars, but they are insanely expensive), and shoot them off.. if your city/county allows it. Most cities have banned bottle rockets, as wood shingled roofs are somewhat common, but just about anything goes.

And in alabama, you can buy "firecrackers" that are equal to a quarter-stick of dynamite that will knock out streetlights with the flash, and crack windows with the sound.

As for a new years resolution... I dont make them, as I know i will break them. I just make "goals". that way, its not a "do or die" thing.. its a "do or feel like an a**" thing.

My New Year's Resolution is to get some traveling in this year, get a promotion at work, possibly transfer work to somewhere else, and to learn how to either handle myself when I drink, or not drink at all (more likely the latter)

My resolution?

To try harder to spread the love and let go of the anger. And to finally found the Universal Church of Bootay. It's just not right to let that not happen after all this time.

But for now, I resolve to go to bed.
