what sucks about hohrmonez is that the purpose they deliver is no longer needed in this world, and people (males) letting their hohrmonez control them, get into jail, or get expelled from school.

why dont we get stuff to decrease sexual desire, before millions start raping eachother?? or make the stuff that does, legal in america?

WTF?... Ok, I don't know if it's a cultural thing... Or if europeans just percieve it differently...
The only thing you notice in Denmark (and all our neighbouring goodie goodie two shoe countries) is males that age, turning their heads...
I don't know what your regulations are, I don't know how your communities are. All I can judge from is all the crap we're fedd about the bible belt, and yes, I'm sorry to say it, but they kinda set the standard view on you lot out here in the world.
All the over protective parents and people who get offended if their children see as much as a thong.
We passed the sexual crisis decades ago, but then, Denmark started the sexual revolution being the first country in the world to legalise and promote porn... So I guess we're a lil' easier on what's acceptable and what's not... Tho this is not always a good thing, as we have 12 year olds parading around in belly shirts, thongs and brah's, although they have no use for these items, not do they understand what they symbolise.

Anyway, back to track. You seriously telling me, that student get expelled from schools... For making sexual remarks, or hints to other student, if it's not direct harasment?...

Please tell me I got that wrong, as I do try not to see you all as a product of the "bible belt"... Tho I maintain the right to make fun of yers non the less!

Expelled, nothing. This is america. You can get outright sued for it. FYI, sexual remarks/hints IS harassment, there is no correlation here.

I don't know about his school, but some schools are very touchy on the subject of sex (or romance, for that matter). My high school has a NPDA (No Public Displays of Affection), but i've passed by a few couples who were pretty much on the verge of sex.

Now, if it was unwanted touching (or remarks that a girl doesn't want to hear), then yeah, the guy can get in some serious trouble.

Now, for sexual remarks? Lol, if students (at least at my school) were expelled for sexual remarks, the entire school body (well, excluding the few dozen "up-right" students) would have been expelled on the first day of school.

Dfclock - what do you propose? That we go back to re-geneticallyengineer out race in a better way than we did the first time? We work as we do, and we aren't about to change very soon(least not near any of our lifetimes give or take a couple thousand years or many more)

I have to say that depends on which school you are attending. Some schools in Sweden are very strict when it comes to sexual harrasment. But we don't deny the youth to have feelings for eachother in public. After all, that is the way we function, if we really like someone we don't care if we show it in public or not even if we are not allowed too.

IMO there is quite a diffrence between harrasment and displaying feelings.

Harrasement, as I view it as, is when you go around calling people whores, bitches and other words with similar meaning. Touching "sacred" parts of the body without the other part's concent I also place under this category. In school they don't like to use the term "sexual harrasment" over here. They rather call it bullying, and that will eventually result in you beeing sent to a counseler and/or shrink at school to talk about it, as well as contacting your parents.

We all do it, and it's considered accepted to a certain degree. If a person says he/she doesn't like it though it most often stops right there

If a person does this once, maybe in extreme cases twice I wouldn't like to call sexual harrasment, merly a way to find out (although primitive and immature) if the other part has any interest what so ever in you.

Non the less, people are very rarely expelled from school, and even then we don't sue eachother. The only cases when someone is sued is the the school when they neglect to listen to pupils who believes they are bullied / sexually harrassed.

And I have to agree with ther rest about if you fear you might rape a person, you should really seek professional help. You are better off getting help now, than after a possible incident.

I think that in this day & age we are a bit above that. The sexual drive to reproduce was a needed element back in the days when the human race was a sparse nomadic group of tribes that was more eager to kill a few carabou to eat than make a few babies. In our modern times we have more than enough folks who are helping to keep the race alive, even more than a few - hence overpopulation problems. Even with state of the art birth control available we continue to increase the numbers of our species to dangerous limits. I believe in evolution, and as far as that goes I'd give us some time until we lose the main drive for reproduction. Heck, we can almost clone or at least test tube babies now. Just think what 1000 years will bring...
