So, I bought a bag of jellybeans, and as I was opening it, the bag popped and exploaded all over the car. We sent a letter to the company saying something along the lines of "We love your Jellybeans, but when we were opening a package it exploded and we lost half of the bag. Could you look into this blah blah blah..." A week later, we got a "sorry" letter, saying they would investigate, and a check for two dollars to replace the cost of the bag.

Now THATS what I call customer service!

LOL that's rather hilarious that you would send them a letter over that, and triple the hilarity that they reimbursed you and apologized on account of your own dumb ass. (no offense, of course, I've done the same thing before)

Whoever was writing that check up was probably desperately containing the urge to write on the memo line: "omg n00b".

Back here, all we'd get as a reply, was a scanned picture of some ones arse, and a photo of them giving us the finger... That and we'd be in the paper for being dumb morons...
But then, Denmark is a friendly country like that... Erh...?

Heh, I reiterate from the other thread: here in america, if a company doesn't smooch upon your rectum when you whine and cry about something, you can sue them.

It's dumb, it's proof that the U.S. federal policy is a crock of ancient written-on-a-napkin-but-followed-anyway B.S., but there's not a lot we can do about it.

OMG a letter to jelly bean company how absurd I am sure your mom is a lovely woman but she must have a lot of time on hr hands i can barely find time to send out bills and checks when i have to
Just a thought all on those expldieng bags why dont we all send out a letter to mary sue about exploding bags

None have because there's no practical case, but literally hundreds have threatened (no joke...pathetic, I know).
