I always thought ya posted this type of thing after you got 1K posts, but this posting of yours is the 1000th - maybe I'm off on my forum-troll etiquette - or maybe I just have stricter rules...

Ich bin so frei und verbessere dich erstmal, bevor ich auf deine erneute Beleidigung reagiere. Es heißt: Ok, dann nenn ich dich Bayer... Besser?
you just said the worst thing you could say to a german (whos not from bayern). To call a Rheinländer Bayer is as bad as to call Rechtsrheiner whos living close to the Rhein a Linksrheiner, but while this is only working with a very small minority, the Bayer thing will bring you from nearly every non Bayer some loose teeth. :D

But while we are at country specific insults, what would be the equivalnet for a Bayer in the USA?

I know only too well what being called a "Bayer" means... hehe
And uhm... I guess the American version would be Texas? Isn't that the one you guy always make fun of?... The rednecks?

"Es gibt nicht viel, auf dieser velt, voran mann sich halten kann!
Mansche sagen die liebe, vieleicht ist da was drann,
und es gibt ja immer noch gott, wenn man sonst, niemand hat!
Andere glauben an garnichts, das leben hat sie hart gemacht,
es kann so viel passieren, es kann so viel gescheen,
nur eins weiss ich 100%'ich, nie im leben wurde ich zu Bayern gehn!"

I couldn't find the lyrics, I coulnd't find the song... so this might:
a) include a few typo's (quite a few)
b) might not be 100% correct...

but you get the idea!

yep song by die toten hosen.

"Es gibt nicht viel auf dieser Welt
Woran man sich halten kann
Manche sagen die Liebe
Vielleicht ist da was dran

Und es bleibt ja immer noch Gott
Wenn man sonst niemand hat
And're glauben an gar nichts
Das Leben hat sie hart gemacht

Es kann so viel passieren
Es kann so viel geschehen
Nur eins weiß ich 100%ig
Nie im Leben würde ich zu Bayern gehen"

actually quite easy to find, but u might wanna try for things like this www.google.de not .com :)

Hmm a Bayer is a type of German then and not a type of Asparin, and if you talk to them they aparently hand you teeth? :?
See I first saw the response post before the other one and figured "Bayer" was a nick for somebody who's a pain (he's a pain hence you need asparin which could be the Bayer kind)

Oh well, now lets see - we do indeed make fun of Texas a bit (depends who you are and what part of the USA you live in and your political leanings since it helps to dislike the President since he came from there and was Govenor of that big backwards state), but Redneck fits for lots of the South and depends on how you want to try and insult a person. Fir instance I could say "Aren't you late for your wedding to your cousin in the backwwods West Virginia?"

We are not backwards! We're just not God's most sophisticated children.
Don't mess with Texas...
Y'all have been warned!
