Facts for punk ass griefers.

Postby Xtrophic » Tue Nov 18, 2003 2:40 pm

It seems as if some people live to give the DJ's shit, and make them feel bad and unwanted inside.

For you here are some facts:
 What you say may seem like a small thing, but when you stack it all together it gets huge and pisses us off.
 We try our best to satisfy you by getting your requests and stuff and you still give us shit for not playing all of your 10 requests, and even mock the DJ's for not staying on longer to play them.
 We charge no money; it's optional if you want to support us. If you don't like us, go somewhere else.
 So if you have nothing positive (or constructive) to say, please STFU!
 We do accept events and try to support the AO community by doing so, all this is also for FREE**
 We hold contests in-game, giving free stuff away. They are free for all to enter and all have a fair chance of winning.

To build a reputation is hard and requires a lot of work. Breaking it is easy.

That very same statement can be applied to our DJ's. It takes time for them to become confident in DJing on air, and so easily shot down by a couple of griefers who could care less about the person on the other side, namely the DJ him-/ herself.

So this goes out to all you griefers: STFU and get out of our sight, we don't want you, our listeners don't want you, hell, nobody wants you!

** - With free we mean that we don't charge anything. We are often given tips for our services, which we appreciate very much.It makes us feel appreciated and warm inside. We have never ever charged any event for anything.

X, honey, you are the MAN! I've always hated the DJ-abusers. It takes a singular lack of class to heckle the best thing AO has to offer. All of the DJs work so HARD to keep us entertained. For freakin free no less. I'm not even in RK anymore and I STILL listen and love.

STFU? No... STFU isn't good enuff. It should be more like "STFU, then go to hell and DIE. If you want negative attention, go back to griefing players into quitting the game, why don't you, you ignorant, nasty little punk-a$$ b'tches!"

So sayeth tha Bootay.

X dont let it rattle your nuggies hon the ones that are talking s..t will end up smelling like it and no one will want to be in a noses reach they will either clean them selves up or leave the land of GSP. and to use tarryks words I DONT CARE their will be a better bread of people that have learned proper bathing habits to take their place the ones we all like to get up close and personal with .A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE GSP DJS AND everyone behind the sceens as well that many might not know but with out them it would be hard to enjoy such a wonderful gift to a game that woudnt be the same with out all of you

Well, X originally posted this after a night where I lost it at some folks.

X just rawks for caring about us so much. :)

And, I do agree with the sentiment here. I usually do pretty good about dealing with (making fun of) the jerks at my shows. This night was just one where I lost it a bit.
I may be retired, but I'm GridStream for life.

OMG So hard to believe you lost your cool cause you are one of the most controlled DJs on air so if you lost it im certain whoever you went off on deserved to be taken apart piece by piece for sure. X is cool and i personally am one to aprecieate his undrstanding and abilities to express things in just the right way.

Look, I know it's been a long time since anyone has posted here. I had to reply because the D.J.'s on Gridstream are great! They are nice to everyone provided that everyone is nice to them. They give away FREE stuff. Heck, some of them sit up all hours of the night just to provide FREE entertainment to us. They host parties for FREE. I think anyone that pretends to have a problem is just so insecure about themselves that they have to be made the center of attention. You would think that they would learn at a young age that bad attention will get them nowhere but, some people just never grow up.
This is me giving MAJOR PROPS to all the GSP D.J.'s!!!
Keep up the good work and try to not let stupid people discourage you. :D

The DJ's do this, as Josellynn said, on their free time, for free. They give us entertainment, great parties (WOOT for parties!) and good laughs.

The asshats can go have a large pile of STFU&GTFO (Shut the F**k up & Get The F**k Off)-pie. Go get *bleep*'ed by a Heckler or something...

Loosing it at these assclowns is perfectly understandable. Putting up bounties on them likewise.

DJs deserve the utmost respect from all of us for providing quality entertainment free of charge, using their time that they could obviously be using for something more personally gratifying.

*sorry to deviate*

BG! I offered you a free trial key and you didnt accept it because you said you hated MMORPGs! If you want to take up the offer for the key tho, I still have all 3.
