I get too many odd looks from people as it is. If I actually LARPed, I'm sure there'd be a general outcry to have me put away where people could feel safe again.
Though LARPing in the saftey of a SciFi or Anime convention used to be fun... back when people were running cool ones and we didn't have to deal with gun shillouette laws and twitchy DC area law enforcement.
