Just wanted to give y'all a heads-up that I'm taking a few days off of the forums and Rubi-Ka. I'll be on AO tomorrow (Saturday Oct 4th) but won't really be available, as I'll be tying up some business.

I managed to overfill my plate again both IRL and in-game, and I'm starting to get all snappy and bitter at everyone. So, a couple days or so for me, off RK, off the drink, just me and a good book.

Take the time you need... but don't stay away TOO long. What will I do without the Tarryk to make me smile? I can only tease Veldron for so long, you know. If you stay away too long, I might make Otori crazy with too many really wierd oldschool requests. Then we'd have to shoot him to put him out of his misery, just like Old Yeller. And that would just plain suck.

About as much as having no Tarryk for too long.

If you want some good literature, read the Enderssaga by Orson Scott Card. I find it fits best together if you read them in this order:

Enders Game
Enders Shadow
Shadow of the Hegemon
Shadow Puppets
Speaker For the Dead
Xenocide
Children of the Mind

All SUPREMELY good books, whether you like Science Fiction or not.

Amazing...and to say the least, you deserve it. Take a break, hell, I'd consider a week or month break to even be just.
