Since Tarryk was kind enough to stop by our site for SWG, I thought I would stop by and say hi to my old friends on Rubika.

How is Shadowlands? Any interesting gossip to be had? Kinda miss Omni-Tek every now and then.

Heh, funny you should say that Odd, I'm about to cancel my accounts there I think... not through any fault of the game mind you. Just a bit too dry(read: realistic) for my tastes, afterall.

As many people have stated before, AO was the WORST when it first came out. Unplayable. SWG isnt' that bad.

I started out not liking the game because I thought it was slow. The graphics are awesome though.. and it truely is a RPers playground. Now that people are getting higer up in their professions, they are starting to concentrate on the community and who's doing what out there.

Just like in AO, if there were no parties, no Gridstream, no Miss Rubika (sorry, had to throw a plug in there hee hee) then would you all really have stayed around? I think the community makes the game what it is. It's clever people coming up with something oringinal and fun to keep you coming back.

So, maybe those of you who are bored of SWG just haven't found the party yet. Oh, just so you nkow, we are located on Eclipse. Feel free to make a party character and come check out some of our events. Perhaps you will want to stay then!

As many people have stated before, AO was the WORST when it first came out. Unplayable. SWG isnt' that bad.

You realize, of course, that you're comparing the "ultimate game" by the "ultimate company" with the "ultimate resources" and the "ultimate pop genre"...to the first release of AO, a game designed by a then-brand-new MMORPG company with less than 5% of the resources that SWG had to prepare and code.

All things said and done, SWG still sucks eggs, and AO is still the most immersion-intensive thing ever created (moreso now with SL), with the benefit of being run by a small, personal, friendly, and simply BAD-ASS consumer-sided company Funcom. Compared to the mega-conglomerate of anal retentive overhead-budget whores SOE.

Ain't flamin', cause that arguement had nothing to do with entertainment guilds. Just the facts, ma'am.

Ok, I gotta agree with yer there... Sony blows! BIG TIME! But I'm a SW fan... And I can play a Rodian... What's a guy to do!

Further more, I had some dude make me some nice skater shorts and a brown T... So my Rodian looks like an alien version of my avatar!!!
I RAWK! (tho I still can't hit the broad side of a sand crawler with a blaster from 10 feet away...)

That whole one charcter/server thing bites, but means when you make alts they're on other servers Alt for going to parties on Eclipse might be a good idea

I may look at SWG soon. got some computer parts on order, and it's out officially in the UK at the end of next month..
