I think it is a legal issue with Live365, not GSP.

It might be a legal manner, that you need a credit card and that sort, since odds are Tarryk and the bunch do have to pay monthly for their radio station, expences, and so on.

Or it has something to do with the fact that they...

It's not a legal issue with Live365. I'm a DJ on another Live365 station.

Thing is, technically GSP is rated 18+ because of the content. Hence their disclaimer that's played. If your playing 18+ content, DJs should be able to listen to what their playing.

EDIT: Oops.. forgot to mention that I'm 17 years old at the moment.. but when I do hit 18, you can bet that I'm applying to GSP lol

That and the fact that for those who are IN the guild, content within guild chats and meetings can get a little out of hand.

There are plenty good DJs out there under 18 guys, I've been producing, mixing and DJing since I was 14, and I've met lots of people on the net that started just as young.

I'm 17 now btw :twisted:

No doubt that there are plenty of good DJ's under 18....thats not the point. I'm 30 yrs old and did my first club gig at 16 (that would be 1989). Two turntables and a microphone (Beck was about 8 yrs old then). Mixing nowadays has become insanely easy, so the amount of "c00l azz" DJ's has so increased. The reason GSP requires the DJ's to be 18+ is (and has been stated already), that we have adult content. It's that simple. I'm confused as to why there is confusion...

And Tacz....we've read your posts, saw your pics and heard your voice via Karoke nights, and you are 12......maybe even 10
