How exactly does one go about getting one's music played on GSP? I'd like to shoot some of my old band's songs your way if possible. Email me at invisiblejesus@yahoo.com or reply here and let me know what the deal is, please. Thanks.

It is definitely possible. If you have them on a downloadable site, that's the best way to get them to us, simply email the link and we will retrieve and distribute them.

If you do not, you can also email individual mp3's to any one of us.

Good deal. We don't have our stuff on a downloadable site (we have some on MP3.com, but not the entire album and that site's a pain in the ass anyway), but I can probably get a friend to host them on his FTP server. I've got a mess of other very cool obscure industrial stuff that I think would go over really well as GSP parties, if I go the FTP route I'll put some of that stuff up too for you to download if you want it. More on that once I figure out what the deal is. If it doesn't work out I'll just email it to you, if my email will let me send that large an attachment.

Could one add the MP3s as attachments to a post here? I dunno how big a file this board will allow.

Use acidplanet. It's free, unlimited uploads/downloads, and an ULTIMATE way to get your music heard.

Register at www.acidplanet.com

Note: When you upload, you have to upload a wmv file first, then the mp3 (so people can stream it, then choose to download it).

Drop me a line and let me know what your artist name is there and I'll seek it out. Mine is Karma Inquisition.

Done. The artist name is From Angels to Ashes. I put the whole album up for download, play whatever you like. Thanks for the tip, this is a cool site.
