Wulfven's status update.

Alright.. So.. My rig is still down, basically because I misdaignosed the failure and purchased two bits of hardware I didn't need, which didn't leave me enough disposable cash to buy what I really need.

Turns out my RAM is incompatible with my new board.. Something funky about the particular version of Corsair DDR I have does not like to play nice with my ASUS A7N8X Deluxe. Corsair is aware of this issue and will be sending me replacement sticks.

Unfortunately, this is likely going to take two weeks to filter all the way through the system.

However, I do have a couple options. A friend is sending me a couple sticks of generic DDR they had lying around, and I'm praying they will work in my system... At least temporarily, anyway. They should arrive this Tuesday.

This would have to hit on my rent/bill cheque and not my mid-month play cheque... I get paid again on the 17th and if I'm not straightened out by then, I'll be ordering a new pair of RAM Modules and having them shipped overnight.

So, if all else fails, the latest I'll be back online and ingame will be April 18th.

Just felt I should let you folks know what's going on and where I am at the moment. Don't care for anyone to think I've abandoned ye. Trust me... This whole experience has been absolutely miserable for me (...and Schmelvic, as I'm constantly bugging him to use his system to check offline tells, the forums, etc.. :p).
