Well, thanks to Tarryk I'm hooked on KMFDM now (Anarchy being my favorite).

Found a nice quote on KMFDM's website:

They get commony confused with the people who made the Mortal Kombat theme song, they did make a remix of it...

Look for Guilty and that's them. They are more Techno/Industrial/Rock music.

I heard (total rumor as far as I'm concerned as I never checked into it) that it stands for "Kill Mother Fuckers Depech Mode". Am I right? ^_^ Did I hear right?

Actually MDFMK is what was meant. It was formed by Sascha after the break-up of KMFDM. MDFMK is prolly known best for Torpedoes, Witchhunt, etc but never really took off. KMFDM, on the other hand, had quite a few releases on Wax Trax records....I would make and educated guess at about 15 albums....some of the familiar songs: Virus, Rip The System, Anarchy, Godlike, A Drug Against War, and that's just a few. Mostly during the late 80's, early 90's. As for the "Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode"....a complete urban legend that some creative soul came up with. KMFDM completely denounced it. But what it does really stand for is KEIN MEHRHEIT FURH DIE MITLEID. I'll let Mummu translate because I've heard several different versions.

i guess thats cause that line makes abslolutly no sense.
maybe if i change it to
KEINE MEHRHEIT FÜR DAS MITLEID
it still makes not much sense, something like
NO MAJORITY FOR THE PITY

Well when you change it, it sounds more like a KMFDM line than anything.

I'm told it's supposed to mean something along the lines of "No mercy for the masses", but my German sucks so take that with a grain of salt. And Guilty is a Gravity Kills song, not KMFDM.

no mercy for the masses would be a more freely translation.
but in the end it means something similary.
and sounds better i would say.
