Kyrstina has her voices turned off.

They were fun at first but quickly got annoying due to massive spamming of them.

Feedback:

Drop the german clips. Most of the world doesn't get them anyway. As an alternative offer them as a "boosterpack" for your soundbag.
Delete all the *.gpk files
Convert far1_01/02 to mono and if there are any others in stereo convert them to and write in the menu that they are LONG. Play those on the guild channel and you might get kicked.
But mostly you need to normalize your soundbites. The difference in volume makes some of the soundbites almost impossible to hear.

In your menu system I think you should improve your names so they are more descriptive, and I had several links that did not work, but that may be because I installed the soundbag wrong. You might want to check out Install Maker to make it easier for your users.

Lastly, DuckJob rules!!!

i dont care 'bout the most of the world :P
but the idea is not wrong, i ll think 'bout it.
(oh and the first in game response i got was from a swiss cause of the german files :)

yeah, those 2 r kinda long and big, mono would be better for them.
the change in the menu is propably goood, on the other hand, if i get some omnis/claner kicked from there orgs due to those.......

Coltess wrote:But mostly you need to normalize your soundbites. The difference in volume makes some of the soundbites almost impossible to hear.

yeah, i know, thats a problem i ve to work on, the most quiets r fuzzies and verklappen, and some other too....

Coltess wrote:In your menu system I think you should improve your names so they are more descriptive, and I had several links that did not work, but that may be because I installed the soundbag wrong.

yeah, u should ve seen some of the names in the first version, i misused them even myself. i ll look deper in that on too.
i know 'bout one link that wont work, but i dont know why it's not working,
might ve something to do with the 'ä's in the .txt ..... dunno,
yet.
wrong installed? not sure how that can happened.
i ll look to find something to make it easier.

Coltess wrote:You might want to check out Install Maker to make it easier for your users.

sounds good.
think i ll try it out, especially the complete uninstall function sounds nice.
maybe i ll add a dowload version just for updating versions too.

Voices are a feature in Notum Wars. An alternative of just writing what you want to say with sound.

How about having a language choice when you /mummussoundbag?
English or mixed. Then you won't have to omit any of the sounds.

go and learn german :P

good idea, i might actually do this.
would need ~31 more textfiles.
for a germen/english/mixed menu version.
a simple update to copy over the old version would do it.
only an update to filter out the german lines ~16 files....
i ll look over it tomorrow.

Guten heute leute (I hope I spelled it right)

Postby Coltess » Sat Apr 26, 2003 5:34 am

I'm from Denmark, so I had German for 2 or 3 years in elementary school, but that was like 15+ years ago  Damn I feel old right now  Anyway, needless to say I don't remeber much of those heady days of Ich bin, du bist, er sie es ist, und so weiter (again I hope I spelled it right ;) )
Now in high school I had Spanish for 3 years, and the only thing I remember from that is "Dos cervezas pro favor". Metalynx might know that one

Thank you for your kind words Mummu. The Ragnarok VoicePack was a joint colaboration between Augstino, Nicegut, and I.
Where do you want me to link to you? On the website? I can try and do that, but it may take a while as I am not the webmaster.

dunno,
your site has no link section, so i would guess the best would be to place alittle link somewhere at the vp site, something like:

for the second best vp out there go to http://www.free-souls.com/dl.htm

but cuz free-souls.com got a link part i wonder if i simply should link u there
or better a link on the dl part with a little comment like:

for the second best vp out there go to http://ragnarok.hjemme.org/vp.htm

_____edit_____
i just corected more then 7 spelling mistakes in this post,
i better go to sleep again........
_____edit_____
and 2 in the edit

How about you make me a small ikon and I link from that?
Make the ikon 150 x 50 or so. (Maybe 166 x 50, then you can send it to Anarchy Arcanum too)
