ok i mentioned this to Tarryk, a couple tiems but im sur ehes been so busy that he hasnt had time to check it out. The it dawned on me to use Yahoo Groups... though it sucks i know but it works... so heres 1 of my mixes...

To extract the file from its compression use a progie called WinAce from www.winace.com im really sorry about this but groups wont let anything larger than 5 mbs uploaded in one go WinAce is a rather cool progie though and simple to use... just install it, right click on the .ace file and tell it to extract to.. or just double click the .ace file and tell it to extract. Oh and make sure ya have all three files in the same location (.ace .c00 and .c01) If someone has a better idea than this crappy group let me know, but i really dont want to fork over much dough for storage space somewhere.

now a quick explanation... i made this about a year and a half ago when i first started messing around with mixes... looking at it again i decided i needed to fix some things... but im not sure if thats me being a perfectionist or what... i did edit a few of the /voice commands into in place of friends voices (wanted to keep it more AO styled) and added a shameless promote for Talk Deviant ;-p lol couldnt help myself... i used several sounds fromt eh same its self, even a few music clips.. and before ya mention the voice acting that was done was done right... so the pauses in certain spot or two were meant there... hearing it and knowing that in advance will prob explain it. Pretty much the mp3 makes fun of OTs propaganda line it starts out moody... where the agent gets his mission then has to wait.... in the rain and listen to his own heartbeat (best part in my opinion) then it starts to pick up when the mission starts. The very loud time keeper is the Omni Jugger walking sfx if ya dont notice it. seeing hes supposed to be piloting a top secret proto type mech.

listen and you'll see what i mean... all it does is plays out a small mission using clips and loops... its about 8 or 9 mins long and is 12mb... you can say its a Beta and you're my testers if ya wish to listen to it

and if its like even a little i can swap other sin its place later... maybe some are better than others... *shrug* its hard to judge yer own works.. sometimes ya jsut need to forgoe yer own perfection complex and see what the people think ;-p and jsut a warning in advance... im not nearly as good as Tarryk and Epicine and all them lol... they have lots more experiance than i do ;-p plus i suck at rapping...

but leave constructive criticism about it and whether or not you'd like to hear more... and remember this is pretty much a beta song ;-p you'll be the first peeps to hear it... heck my friends havnt even heard it yet

I think the voice at the beginning is a bit hokey..and then using 3 voice commands one-after-another is kinda weird too :/

The voice work needs work, it does sound hokey. The beat was good but it tends to get too repetitve in the middle. Submit or die? I don't really need to hear that thirty times.

coo coo... as i said i kinda figured it needed work... and yeap i know the voice is goofy... its supposed ot be some rich high up OT ass hole after all... (i can say ass on this cant i?? if not ignore it) and yeah need to edit the middle as i thought... and yeap was goin to redo the section with WE BRING PEACE BUT SUBMIT... was goin to too in the Omni-Tek is yer friend bit and another line... i actually did the voice for the sweeper pilot so i can revamp that at will... i'll get anotehr version out as soon as i get some time to rework it... and if as for airing it on gridstream... thats cool with me after all i did toss in that shameless bump fer you guys recently ;-p jsut let peeps know its a beta ;-p lol

let me know what show ya decide to run it on so i can lsiten in that night ;-p

oh and on a side note the We Bring Peace and Unity is anotehr crack on OTs propaganda... picture this vicious mech smashing a clanner unit while a loud speaker is blaring that ;-p and with the pilot of it telling the clanners to submit or die over their com units...

keep the critisim commin... i might retweak it tonight when i get a chance or tomorrow

hmmm well... spent some time working on it and well.... im jsut running out of ideas for that particular song... (then again my loop collection got real small after i stopped working on mixes so if anyone knows a good source let me know please)

i took out a lot of the repetiveness... dont think anything other than the omni propaganda repeats more than 5 times... (voice wise repetiveness)

i even tried shortening it... ahahahaha.... uhm... no... way way WAY too many lines of loops.... would take me longer to shorten it than it did for me to make the bloody thing.... added in anotehr quick joke based off omni-pol and talk deviant ;-p uhm... hmm... man... this ones a hard one to work on.... i think im just goin to make a few more minor adjustments and release the final... that way i can say BAH with it and retweak one of my others.... or maybe just make somthing new... wonder if tarryk and gridfan ever find it hard editing already made works... *shrug*

anyways if anyone has an idea... or want to record a quick line i can toss into the small battle near the end for the clanner side of it (hmmm maybe seeing gridstream is all clanners and prob better actors than i know of ;-p including me *hint hint* lol........) keep it kinda goofy to the story... if ya do... like... i dont know shout that the huge mech loots like a giant twinky.... or... or make a wise crack about the "loud speaker" blaring omni propaganda... i dont know... (jsut dont use Uber.... hehe)
or even jsut a general order for a retreat...

anyways im done messing with it while playing ao... goin to crash for the night.... btw... mp3/zip the file then send it to warlordomega@attbi.com (uhm 5 meg limit i believe but if yer clip is that big... its prob way too long for me to use) and before i recieve clips from 30 peeps... i mainly meant that as an invite for the greidstream peeps, whom the general listeners will recognize instantly like Yxxil, Lynx, Tarryk, no sorry not Epicine... im not reworking it so he can Ownz it ;-p

and if one of them does do a line or a few for it... dont plan on seeing/hearing/dlding it till sundays talk deviant..... ;-p

OK! I'm set up at Acid Planet www.acidplanet.com and the final version is up for dld there... change... uhm... not much... took out a lot of the repetitive voices... none use more than 4 i believe... EXCEPT for the Omni Propaganda... added another punch about gridstream ;-p kinda...
when ya listen to it jsut kepe the skit with the hand grenade in the apartment in yer mind... and the end of that skit... Omni-Pol and Uber... hehehehe...


anyways Thanks for hosting it Mummmu but ya dont have to anymore and as for the old and final versions... *shrug* if ya like one more than the other thats fine... and it doesnt bother me which one is played on gsp if it ever does again ;-p

i'll have another couple song sup within the week jsut need to find them out of 800 some cds of backed up data *sigh* i knew i should have started labeling them.... i may end up jsut making a new one as well... some replies i got was they'd like a SFX less version of the song... and that i can probly do and i'll shorten it up some too so its not such a big dld.

anyways.. you can let this post die/delete it in a week or so how ever ya control clutter on the boards add me to eyr acid faves.. i got karma inquisition on mine... but who are the other DJs names on there? so i can add them to the list?
