-AO Offical Site of Shadowlands

-As I read it there are two new Professions, and that everyone has a "shadow breed" upon crossing over.

-Floating City of Jobe is the "portal" point to ShadowLands

-Shadowlands is a meta-physicial place, a polar-opposite of Rubi-ka as we know it. Lush jungles, water falls, and brilliant landscape beyond the wastelands and deserts we are use too.

-IGN had screnshots here.

-IGN's Shadowlands FAQ not much info, but basics covered.

-Hopefully SL will breath life back into the story...

The two new proffesions are related to a new resource found in the Shadowlands. These new proffesions can only be started in the Shadowlands.

Interesting, it might make me come back to ao...

As for the different "Shadow Breeds", Omni will have more corrupt, demonic, styled looks, the clans more Beautiful and Angel-like looks.

Interesting if its also among the other classes, like agent's start to look like Neo, Morpheus or the Agents, Metaphysicsts like some Freakist Anime-Tentacle thing, Enforceres like mutants, or buffed creatures, and so on.

Wouldn't that mean they cannot leave Shadowlands?

Also if you believe the rumors, when Shadowlands portals open (is release) thing within the world as we know it will change as well.

Somethings on Rubi-ka may not function as they once did.

There will of course be a whole new world of mobs to find and kill ;)

Most of the ones from the screen shots look like vaporal beast, horned demons, and weird armored beasts... yes SL is going to provide some serious new content.

As for new nanos, weapons, and armor... I believe (as for design this may make since) that when you become a "shadow breed" this form of yourself is only allowed in shadowlands... meaning those cool nanos, armor, and weapons you use in SL can't come back through the portal with you. This is just my opinion, based on what has been released already and what I could think up design wise to make the most sense.

SL may even effect how Reclaim technology works as well if the above is the case.

I've always said it'd be interesting if there was a momentary spike in the reclaim process. :-D but talk about harsh. It'll never happen for obvious reasons, but man. Wouldn't you feel the fear of seeing "Reclaim process failure. DNA lost."
:P

Of course, that has nothing to do with SL at all. ;)
