And Just Where Have I Been?!
Posted: Fri Jan 24, 2003 10:11 amSince my recent return to the game, I have been bombarded with the same question repeatedly. I thought I had gotten the word out about why I was gone for so long, and why I am still very limited in my online time... So for those of you whom I missed telling, here it is.
On November 25th, my cousin gave birth to twin girls. These were her first children ever, and since I cursed her early on with twins, I am officially chained to the crib. In other words, I have been at her house from 7am to around 5pm (when her husband gets home) helping her to take care of the dynamic duo. Seeing as I am not the most healthy of people (read as, disabled) it has been a rather large strain on me to be up and moving for that many hours in the day, and by the time I get home I am too dead to do anything more then grunt at my husband and go to bed.
As of recently, my mother has also been called away from home, leaving me to tend her house and pets while she is away, and thus adding to my collection of real life stuffs. With the twins nearly their second month of life, my cousin has developed a routine with them and I have been permitted a few more hours to myself... thus the reason that I now have a couple hours on week days that I can log in to the game and chat.
To sum up. I been a busy woman with too much on my plate. Things are starting to calm down, and perhaps soon I will be able to return to a more normal life... but seeing as I cursed my cousin (just ask her, she will tell you) and I am the only member of the family who has no children or work to worry about, I am the one who is available to assist her.
So there is it. Where I have been. Feel free to post questions, as I will answer them here but not in game. I got a lot of catching up to do... like those colored yalms and... what's this about a tower?!
