Back in my good ol The Great Vikings of Rubi-Ka days, we and Oposing Force had a little fundraiser were we got the wather in Tir city cleaned.

(proof: theres a obelisk thingy at South gate that you can klick and press the show info button on (standard T))

right.. so how about starting a fundraiser for getting Gridstream a DJ Booth(s) in the bars.

Fundraiser can be standing around at different locations giving out buffs to people for a tip

Or as when i was listening to TNT on sunday have one of those
"SellPeopleForMoneySoTheyCanBeSomeonesGimp4aDay"

Witch sounds like fun (maby make it an event?)

This might just be some rambeling since I havent slept for 24 hours but somewere in my atrox mind i found that to be a good idea.

Remember back in the day when I was just starting, and rollerrats were the top of my hitlist. ^_^ I took a spill into the Tir moat, and died moments later from the toxic waste.

Not a week later (maybe 10 levels more), I took a spill in it again! I started flipping out cause I was so near the next level and didn't want to die and lose it all! But then I noticed that I wasn't taking damage. I later found out that a guild or few held a fund raiser to help purchase purification equipment to clean out the toxic elements (ie, paid off some GM's to do some hoocus-poocus ^_^).

So I think it's a good idea!

A DJ booth would look great in the glass floor room on he middle of the long wall.

I remember back before GSP when I was fighting tooth and nail for a DJ Booth in Reets Glass Floor. The fight eventually wore thin for me (I *gasp* gave up), but it's definitely not something I'm opposed to seeing happen!

I would love anything better than standing on the back of that couch. I want a highrise DJ booth! h00t!

Alas, it's cosmetic, and not as important to patch in my eyes as the Baboon's lag. A good idea, nevertheless.

That sounds like a great idea. I could hand out my uber run buffs to raise funds!

I would try and help with that, but the only guy with a few buffs I have is a Omni-techie *Holds for insults*, and they agree that Gridstreams great, but hate that there clanners. Thats their saying not mine.

Very interesting idea Ferostil. If such a thing were to be run, who does the money go to? Basically I'm asking who GVRK gave the creds to to get this done? (And yes, I remember GVRK fondly, it was a sad day when they broke up.)

Well....if we were Omni the Clan would hate that we were Omni. Can't make everyone happy. *shrugs*
