I feel it necessary to share with the world the arrival of my cousin's twins on Monday, November 25th. Kira Sierra was born at 2:24pm (mst) at 6 pounds 11 ounces, 19 inches long and her sister Luna Aurora was born at 2:25pm (mst) at 5 pounds and 9 ounces. The sisters are doing very nicely, both healthy and strong. Kira did spend about two hours in NICU as her body temprature was too low, but she returned to the Nursey and her sister in no time at all.
Their mother is doing well after her c-section, tired like you wouldn't believe, but exicted and bubbly as well. Their father has finished recovering from shock at their two days earlier then planned birth, and did in fact make it to the hospital on time to be there for their arrival.
What this means? Well, it means that I am officially on call. At any time of the day or night my phone may ring and I will be headed out the door to be a baby holder while mom and dad try to figure out what they are doing. Unfortunately it also means that my online time will be very limited. I will still check the boards when I can, and nag you all with the details as I go along.
That's it for now.
