What if I told you that you could get one of our old DJ's to come back to GSP? Honestly? I'm not trying to get your hopes up here. And while there may be at least one former DJ who has made some noises about returning, this isn't about any one in particular. This is more about what you want. If you could have any DJ come back to us, who would it be and why? I make no promises. However, if some names come up that get a good response, maybe we'll reach out to them and see how they feel about it. So here's your chance to make your case. We'll be watching.

Our Scottish DJ, I think her name was Psykotropik but its been years. Xtrophic and I were just chatting about her and how much we need an Irish/Scottish DJ again. That accent makes me melt.

Personally I'd like to see Dani (Danyoo) return.

Klinical has had some RL issues come up, so no shows at all for the time being. We're hoping he can sort it all out soon enough.

Okay, well, you told me to go ahead and list away, so, without looking back at previous posts or resorting to my lists or anything, just off the top of my head...

Nushen, Narcotic, Aakasha, ScreamingLord, Chaimera, Traanse, Lauri, Sprklygrrl, Tarryk, Ashval, Phaetonix, LuckyStarr, Switchfront, Oubs, Drexlore...

Does Epicine count? Or Dysig the Atrox Barbarian? TastyVixen is still around, just not DJing, right? And I'll skip the ones who were happy with other stations last I heard. I know I'm forgetting a few and I'm sure I'll feel terrible about it later, but that's already a bit much.

Oh, but you said "and why"... hmm... how can I make a case for why I want them back? I just miss them.

And Jez, I have a couple of thoughts for what to do about the "all of the above" type of votes.

End of the day though, this isn't a winner take all type of thing. This was just trying to get the pulse of the community and see what comes of it. We'll see.

To add my own 2 cents to this, I'm also inclined to go with "all of them." However I'll put in for Aakasha, Switchfront, and MeenStreek.

There is so many who would be nice to see making a return. Psykotropik has been already mentioned, Lykeios for all the eccentric stuff, Dani, Aakasha, Chaimera and Lauri just to name a few more.

Think for me my biased ones would be Lykeios and Screaminlord but Switchfront/Ashval/Tarryk/Psykotropik/Foxyjama/Lauri/Narcotic would be up there >.< I miss so many people >.<

Though I miss most of the DJs who are no longer with us, I especially miss Cherri. Her shows almost always happened when I was home from work, and even though I still can't tell one type of billy music from the other, I liked the music that she played. (Plus I conned her into opening her show with the same song that's the unofficial GSP Dancer song "Welcome to the Show")

Hi guys - Just checking in here to apologize for not doing anything with this yet. Life and work and stuff and things happened and this project had to be set aside for a time. However, I'm getting back to it now. I'm going to tally what votes I have. For any voters who have said something to the effect of "all the DJ's" I will just add 1 point to everyone on my list.

Again I make no promises that anyone I reach out to will be in a position to return to us, but I will try and see what comes of it.
