This week - provided that the Halloween event happens this week (*crosses fingers*) - we have a busy week in TSW as far as events go.

The big one - obviously - is that GSP is having a party in TSW! It is kinda our Christmas! Though, our Christmas seems to be pretty spooky as well... it will be behind the Franklin Mansion on Saturday starting at 9 PM ET! It features the SPOOPY stylings of DJ Nicksa and DJ Daydreaming! A copy of 'The Park' will be up for grabs along for chances to win some FC points! Show up in a costume! With a date! Or, just show up! <3 It is going to be a fun time!



Wednesday night? Yes, Eye of the Storm is happening. 8 pm ET. The Crusades. Trevalin's Halloween version of it, that is. A copy of Funcom's 'The Park' is up for grabs. Gotta be there to win!



Thursday night? DJ Drina is putting on a very SPOOKY Play Anything! You should definitely show up for this!




DJ DayDreaming will be having her regularly scheduled Namaste Friday 11-2 ET at the Beer Garden behind the Horned God!



There are a lot of other community events going on! Will update this as we learn of more!

Every year, Craft puts together a A Haunted Ealdwic Ghost Tour in TSW - and this year is no different. He seems to have outdone himself this time! Yeah, the last one kinda conflicts with our GSP party, but no hard feelings if that is the only time slot you are able to make.

The Halloween events are live. They were only delayed for a few hours - so, it wasn't as serious as what we feared. So, yeah, everything is live! :3

The new mission is called Seven Senses .. Funcom forgot to mention that it is not free and not open everybody.
After hours of WTF in Tabula Rosa and bothering countless people on #event and #hint and even sending in a ticket. No one had a clue to why myself and several other people I talked to didn't get this mission on log in.

I think I learned that the only new 2015 mission requires that you have been to Tokyo. That of course means that you have paid for a lot of past issues.

The new content is never free .. fine .. I just wish that they make that clear before I get all creamed up about a new Halloween mission.

Least I sound all cranky and pissed off ( I am atm ) .. there is still lot's of fun to be had in TSW this Hallow's EVE for those of that are not UBER... Cat Lord is back .. the mission Broadcast is hell fun and not too hard.. and has great music.

AND .. Of course there will be GSP PARTIES GSP PARTIES GSP PARTIES

I can understanding how it could be confusing - they should have had an indicator why you couldn't get the mission. I'm sorry if I sounded terse, I was in the middle of killing the Cat God NM. ^^

The Seven Silences is a 9-tier Investigation Mission that I actually full on RP'd on the first day. No guide exists for it yet, but I'll post one up when there is one for those who would prefer to just go through the mission rather than all the rest. Really, the only "investigative" part of it is the last tier. And that was annoying until it dawned on me what it was. It is a good mission that ties in heavily with the Park, though you can play it separately. It is more of a... oh. Oh No. oh NO type of thing rather than spoilers.

I've had poor luck with the grab bag, but I have the spooky dance and it amuses me.

After playing The Park last night I just had to go to TSW to play Seven Silences. It was really well done. As Iolanthe said it wasn't "difficult" as investigation missions go. There was nothing I couldn't figure out. One tier towards the end I asked in channel about because my brain told me "well it has to be..." but then I thought "no...they wouldn't..." but as it turned out, yes, they would. I also had a similar stumbling block as Io on that last tier. I over thought it at first but then once it hit me, it was so obvious. The story that you get with it though, well that was really good stuff. It can be done separately from The Park without feeling like you missed anything but the tie in was quite nice. Also it made me wonder if I was better doing The Park first or would've preferred to have done this mission first.

On a separate note on Halloween in TSW, as I was making my way through the world I heard some of the radio broadcasts from that other mission. I love love love that kind of atmospheric stuff. If it wasn't already so late by the time I was done with Silences, I would've gone right into that one as well.
