So, remember when Joel Bylos peaced out to work on another initiative within Funcom that was super secret?

Earlier today, the cat is finally out of the bag...

And an experimental horror-game is being released in October of this year.... that will be exploring some of the happenings of a haunted amusement park in TSW. And, yes, it IS set in the TSW universe, as confirmed by Joel in some tweets.

I have to say, I'm interested.

I'm more than a little interested in this. In fact, I'd love to see more elements of the game get the same treatment. In the meanwhile, I'm very much looking forward to giving The Park a try.

If you haven't heard yet, this game is now available for pre-order for about $10 and if you pre-order it you get a costume and some talismans for use in TSW (if you also have that game.) According to Steam (which is one of the ways you can buy it) if you pre-order it I think you also get to play it a couple days earlier than the full release date of October 27th.

You can buy it from other vendors, but you *require* steam to play it as it was created with the steam api in mind. They would have liked to do a DRM-free version, but this was the easiest method of implementation.
