Funcom's latest contest, #IAMTSW, has been going for the last few days. There will be several rounds of this contest with fabulous prizes offered by Funcom and community sponsors.

The first round, The Audio Round, started on March 23. Gridstream is a proud sponsor of this part of the competition along with Radio Free Gaia and The Omne Datum Optimum. Details for the Audio Round can be found here.

In addition the second round, The Screenshot Round, was announced today and will start on March 30th. The details for that part of the competition can be found here.

I'm sure many of our listeners have a lot to say about their love of TSW. I'm sure many of you can take some pretty kick-ass screenshots. I don't know what might be coming in future rounds, but I would encourage everyone to participate in this really fabulous contest!

I'm really excited to hear (and later see) what the community comes up with

Round 3 has just been announced. This time it is The Cosplay Round.

I'm so looking forward to this one. Not that I plan on doing any cosplay. However, I know a lot of you can be really creative. I can't wait to see those entires starting Monday.

Ok I know this still doesn't solve your problem of wanting to do an ingame cosplay. However, this was posted in the FAQ's yesterday and I wanted to post it because it is different from what I said above.

Yes, pets will be allowed, costumes on brooms, inanimate objects, etc. whereas another person, is not allowed. The reason is that they would have to sign up for the forums, and accept our TOS and a whole bunch of legal mumbo-jumbo.

I know it's confusing, but pets don't get to have rights of ownership like people do

Ok all you roleplayers and creative writers out there, this is the round for you. The Backstory Round has been revealed today.

Next week begins The Hand-Crafted Round.

Could produce some very intersting results. I'm thinkng of putting my crochet skills to the test.

I was considering trying to do a taco hat. Of course that would leave me with a RL version which is just as useless as the in-game version. Although I suppose I could always bring it out every Cinco de Mayo.

I think my favorite event on TSW was Halloween of 2013. Dynamiks did a stint as a guest/surprise DJ and it was the first time I had heard him on air. His energy and presence was amazing. The other DJs were excellent also. I think it was the first multi-day party I had encountered and there was a large volume of people there the whole time if my recollection serves.
