Game Director Letter (TSW) - April (and other news)
Posted: Fri May 09, 2014 10:22 pmI had meant to make a post about this, but I figure I'll cover all the bits of news all at once.
First off:
Sidestories: Further Analysis is now available. It is a series of 4 investigation missions that put you on the track to discover some very intriguing information. They are meant to be quite challenging and are meant to delve a bit deeper into the existing lore of the game. This mission pack is available from the item shop for a reasonable amount - 768 fc points with my lifetime sub.
Next:
April's Game Director Letter
-It discusses the above mentioned sidestories at legnth
-A relaunching of the Whispering Tide missions for those who had missed them so they can get the achievement. (May 7-May 21)
-Assurances that Issue #9 "The Black Signal" is coming soon™!
-The AEGIS system has been on TestLive for a few weeks now and is getting a lot of valuable feedback, so they are really optimistic about that.
-Announcement that the story mission in Tokyo will be repeatable after you complete it. They will look into letting that happen for the rest of the story mission down the road.
-There will be a lot more articles concerning Tokyo over the coming weeks.... of which...
Next:
Characters of Tokyo!
This article goes into a few of the characters you'll run into in this new playzone region. I won't link images because there are so many and I dare not show favor over one or another, but if previous character reveals have been any indicator, these individuals will be very interesting to interact with.
Something fun the TSW-RP community had been doing was doing a "chibi" version of their characters in honor of this new bits of information about Tokyo.
You can do this as well!
These chibi were ALL over twitter, but you can find a lot of them in this thread if you are interested. We had all too much fun with this.
