it would be very kind of the djs if the can move to a european timezone,

LOL, I doubt we can.

I checked the other post in the Polls section that you said your listening times are "13-21 GMT". So that's 1p-9p GMT...which should currently be 9a-5p EDT (the time most of our DJs operate in).

So your best bet to catch shows would be Saturdays and Sundays during that time. Often we end up with a DJ taking over and doing a spot in that range, even if there are no scheduled shows.

As it were, plans are in the works to see to it that convenient European times have more live content (at least on Sat and Sun), and we'll keep you updated!

:(

r ya sure about this?

europe is MUCH better then amerika.

- i would have a better connectionspeed to your shoutcast server,
its in the last days a little laggy.
- and here is nor gouverment morning about internetradio payments.
btw what are they talking about, the connect ads are not good
to understand for non americans.

They can't and that's it :)

One reason is work hours ... remember they begin their show at 8pm EDT which is 02:00 my time ... If they were to move it to our primetime they would still be at work.

Since we use live365 we are under US regulations. There is not equvilant service in Europe that I am aware of.

GridStream will be doing shows from 4pm-12pm edt(est) every day of the week almost.

In european times this is equal to. 22:00-06:00 CET (MET/MEDT)

I'm the only european DJ (being from Norway) the rest are from the US
and spread across all the time zones there (4hr from coast to coast?)

When I work, americans sleep. when I start my evening americans are having lunch lol.

That's assuming most Americans are on that 9am - 5pm schedule, heh. I -normally- most active at night, and go to bed in the morning. Vilanic is often more active at night too due to work schedules. ^_^ So you've got some listeners out there on akward time schedules too.

Basically that falls into the "Sorry Bout Yer Luck" category. I'm certainly not quitting my job so I can cover the time zones for europe and late-night U.S. workers. Something tells me the others DJ's aren't quite willing to do that either. :)

In the meantime, we still have the weekends to cover those zones, and as I said, we're working on it, bear with us! :)

I've no real problems with the show times. ^_^ I normally catch Deviant on Wednesdays and... Well, I suppose a lot of times playlists, but normally I get up late enough in the afternoon that I think most of the DJs are probably just getting off work, so I can normally catch the shows if I try. *pause* There's a thought. The European listeners could get night-jobs and maybe they'd be more on schedule with the show-times then? Heh.

Only solution I see is to hope to get a DJ that holds those late hours requested.

Anyone in the European time zones interested in DJing for GSP should contact me via Email and I will send you a GSP DJ Application.

However until such time as a DJ in the requested time zone makes him or herself known to me, there is nothing that can be done about the show times. Sorry.
