I'll be on Sunday! I'm working Saturday, but might squeeze in some Saturday night.

My husband (who earns himself the temporary title "Complete Sweetheart") saved up from some extra jobs to get me an early birthday present since he knows my current computer is trying to die. So I get to try out Wildstar with my shiny new gaming laptop this weekend. :D It ran well on my old system, but I'm still excited. If anyone wants to chat while playing, maybe we can PM character names (anyone know if a reset was done or if old ones are still there?) or something and then hop on Skype. Otherwise I'll probably be on my husband's TSW cabal chat with the other beta players. \m/

(Ok, must test skype and headset before weekend. lol I'm still in the "installing" stage and haven't really used it for anything yet.)

woot! go hubby :)

I'm thankfully off this weekend, so I'll likely be playing most of the time. haven't played at all yet, so I'm very eager. My friend wants to do Dominion during the beta, since we both like Exiles, and will likely main as them ^.^

As soon as I get a character name set up at all, I'll be glad to give it out :)
(I have a name in ESO that I got in Beta, and am hoping that I get to keep *fingers crossed*, in BOTH games)

Yay! We'll be on the same side, then. Phil and I both played Dominion. If they didn't wipe chars, then I might be on either Femputer or, um, I think my Medic was named Beverly because Bones was taken. I can't remember now. I was really enjoying Medic but for purely destructive reasons.

I'll be honest, I haven't gotten to my "plan down character races/classes/appearances/names" phase yet. I think it's the lack of time I've had to put into them. Last ESO beta I got as far as making a sheet summarizing the strengths of each race's abilities and what play style it would augment so I have the info once I ever get around to it. I'm hoping on one more beta event so I can write down what my appearance selections are for one character. The others will probably be named placeholders. TSW has at least helped calm down my altitis.

Wildstar is ridiculously entertaining.

Damn them for making a fun game. I have no time for this! :P

lol Agreed. And same about the time! I managed to play enough to get three levels on Sunday and find out that my desk in my bedroom is really not set up to be a computer desk. Neck massage, please! I mostly just wanted to get to player housing. Once I could mess around with that, I was good. \m/

I was so close to unlocking player housing >.<

I kept getting distracted with explorer missions (I really think I'm going to go Aurin Stalker explorer. It's a great combo)

I am pretty impressed with how polished this game is. I've tried a few races and a few classes... only early levels, of course. I want to get into the meat of the game to see how they perform mid to end game. It speaks to the whole experience.

So far, there is a ton to do... more content than you can shake a stick at, but that may not hold up later. I didn't get to experience housing. I love that there is a mount that is a hoverboard. I like a great deal about this game. It doesn't try to be more than it is, but at the same time, its very ambitious.

Damnit! I don't have time for this game (as shown by my limited time in the closed beta... also, I downloaded the game late, so, umm....), but it is very charming, clever, attractive (for its style), and very entertaining. I found myself wanting to play more than I had time for... for an MMO, that's a good thing in terms of 'keeping interest'. Now, long term... that's another story and there isn't enough data for that.

Woo! Preorders are announced. They'll be up on the 19th. Going to get the DD version. I'll check check with a friend or two to see if they want a guest pass, but I will likely have at least one spare. I'll give it away here when I get it :D

\m/ Hubby hasn't decided while one he's getting yet. I think the board and the costume in the DD look pretty neat. I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to sub after buying though.

On the one hand, I enjoy it when I play and it's the only mmo I'm willing to play that has player housing. I can only take combat-oriented play sessions in WS for a couple hours at a time because I get movement/multitasking/sensory/stress overload. It also started to feel repetitive if I played for too long at once. Then again, I loved the player housing. They seemed to do it really well, and I'm tempted to buy it just for that. Subbing for housing and two hour play sessions though... Since I really only have one "play day" per week, I guess I need to decide if it's worth it. I'll probably take the same approach as I am with ESO. Preorder and then see how I like it for the first month or two. Out of the two games, one of them will probably be worth my Sundays and make me happy. The conflict will arise if I like them both well after their launches. Then I have to decide if paying for both is worth the time I have to split between them.

I'm definitely getting a preorder, though, because Rocket Ship House! And Protostar DID promise to make my dreams come true* for money (*dreams not guaranteed).
