I use winamp3. and a nifty little thingy in winamp3 is that you can see video on it. so here is my thought.

Can it be done to stream video's? It would be rather cool if you guys could stream some music videos along with MP3's. Or maybe a consert or something D. Can it be done, or would it use too much bandwith?

A few weeks ago Riakoo tried to stream live video of him self.. Hehe, was realy cool to see him sit and DJ, and see the responses he had when something funny was said at reets But we had to go to a URL to see him. Can it be done trough winamp3?

that wasnt me it was either boco or gridfan, my web cam was stolen about 4 years ago. as for music vids thats a big no (at least i think so) due to copy write laws. you should see how many rules and guidlines we have to follow just to stream music its nuts! then there comes the question of were we get the videos, i can think of mtv.com and launch.com thats about all i know and thouse vids are straem only so we would be stealing there files and re streaming them, im sure there are uber laws against such an action. as for the dj's setting up a stream of themselves im pretty sure that can be looked into, gratned the dj has a web cam. good idea though.

i m not sure that i wanna see this... and for what? its still a gsp is still a radio station....

but a videostream live from reets would be for the ones who rnt able to be there (sitting not on a comp with ao on it) nice i think.

Only one asnwer to thsi question:

Bandwidth.

Unless anyone else in GP has a T-1 line to do live broadcasts AND streaming..AND support multiple copies of AO runnig at once, I dont think your goign to see any kind of perant live wwebcast deal goign on. I knwo the one I saw was very slow on refresh, and I think it casued some problems me reciving music (kept skipping).

And as for a Live cam from the Talk Deviant....Errmm...NO! (at least I wont be a part of that) We irritate enough people, I dont think they really want to see 2 drunk people....bad enough you have to play AO...

Can we at least have an RL picture of all the DJs?!
