Noobie saying Hello

Heya all, just want to say Hello, and AO still has a few true noobs... I would be one, and the community seems to be just awesome. My background was originally in EQ1, but I've played alot of MMO's... SWG to GW2 beta and yet... here I am in AO and probably will be for a long while. I wish I gave this game a shot a long time ago.

Gotta give props to Winterspark for plugging gridstream.org to me. Any station that plays Type O Negative within the first 10mins of me listening is a keeper for me. :D

Hey! Welcome! AO really is the best, and I don't just say that because I'm involved here with GridStream. I play AO a lot too, and you'd be surprised how much there is to the game. I'm shocked every time I find a new endgame quest I haven't done yet. It's totally fun!

Plus of course, you can't beat the community. We have a great time over here in our social corner and try to bring as many people as we can into this side of the game. We're glad to have you join us :)

If you get acquainted and want to, you can consider coming to AO's first fan convention this summer. ;) http://ao-con.com I plug stuff too. hehe

If you like Type O Negative, you might like DJ Kriegshammer and DJ Phaetonix, who both play a lot of metal. Many of our other DJ's do too. We're a variety station, so we all have our favorites and you get a good mix.

On a side note... "Winterspark"? Is that who I think it is? And I see what you did there...

Thanks for the warm welcomes! That's great you have a strong following.

I'll have to check more into that event.

Yeah it was Kriegshammer I was listening too \m/ 8)

Does everyone broadcast while in game? I used to follow MXO's online radio and would go to their ingame broadcasts when I could. I'm sure the more I read up on the forums the more my questions will be answered.

Yup, GSP is always in game while DJing. Every couple of songs the DJ should let you know which server they are on and where at within Rubi-Ka. Most of the time all that info is in the stream title that flashes by in Winamp :).

Oh and here is another plug, have a look at the GridStream Player. Makes it super easy to tune in at anytime ;).
