Awesome music from just around the corner...

Hey guys and gals, why not create a thread where we music-lovers can pimp some of our local "music heroes". There is a lot of very sweet and great independent music out there most people won't get to know.

The place I live in is sort of a music-hub and centre for such bands with several locations doing concerts and regular events. There's even a semi-state funded local radio doing it's best to breath some life into the local music scene.

AUCAN is a Italian post-rock/dubstep band. I'll attend one of their concerts tonight and saw them last year, too. I really liked them and I think they deserve more credit than they get.

IIRC you can get most of their stuff in CD by now.
