So I was going to put this as my status update on Facebook but there are too many people there who won't get the humor of this. I figured only my AO friends would truly understand...

My mom got a new dog. Since the dog is 2 years old it already has a name. I had to really giggle to myself when she told me that her name is Muffin.

Well, now you can play with your muffin in public! lol

Aww! Is she a small dog? "Muffin" is a name for little dogs, unless the owner has a weird sense of humor. I guess the trick now is going to be remembering to not answer when your mom is calling the dog.

Yeah it's a small dog. A shih tzu to be precise.

And yeah, it will be funny, especially after a couple drinks, if I start answering to "Muffin" around my family.

It's a funny thing too. I have an aunt who has always called my sister "Muffin". So there is definitely a whole connection to that name in my family.
