my GF have been on FB for less then a week now last 24 hours she has gotten 135 messages with all kind of crap like her being a fat whore and all kinda stuff like that. really sad how this world works.

she currently don't want to start playing AO but i hope i can convince her in time but as of yet she will only listen in on GSP shows not showing up at partys.

Maybe it would help convince her to come to AO if you let her know how DIFFERENT the AO community is than Facebook. Facebook can be vicious. AO has its share of d-bags sometimes, but usually if they know you're a real girl, they're pretty nice to you!

In all seriousness, sounds like she needs some nice friendly people to be around. I don't know what kind of social life she has on RK4, but we'd be happy to welcome her here on RK1 or RK2.

Yet another reason I won't go near that evil FB thing. I'll admit it does have its uses, and it is home to the only game my mother's actually gotten interested in. Of course, I find her Farmville fixation about as quaint as she finds my little two plant cilantro garden.

I've been online since before AOL opened the internet to every bedroom and basement in the world and GSP is without a doubt the best community I've found. She doesn't have to actually "play" the game to come hang out with us, but if she does eventually become interested in it, there's no better place to find the help she'll need to get as much out of it as she wants to.

hopefully my talk with her last night changed her mind bu won't know before i come back from a short vacation hopefully she shows up and get to know you all while i'm gone.

i know GSP is the better part of online community's and that is what i hope she under stands.

She may also want to consider changing her privacy settings in Facebook.

Everybody knows that except for Facebook, the internet doesn't have girls. Even in MMORPGs it's Many Men Online Role Playing Girls....myself included My general rule of thumb is that if I have to stare at a pixilated ass for an extended period of time, it might as well be female

I don't use Facebook myself nor follow the Twitter twits neither. Social networking isn't my thing. I'll visit the occational forum (like this one!) but that about limits it for me.
