So it's obvious everyone here plays AO, and thought it would be interesting to see who plays other games.
Personally I play ao and heroes of newerth otherwise known as Jon which is a remake version of the famous wc3 mod DOTA.

Aside from AO, About the only other game I play at the moment is chess, and that doesn't even require a computer :-)

Pretty much WoW and League of Legends. Once AoC goes free will pick that up too.

AO is the only one I really play seriously at all. I've played a little WoW and experimented with Perfect World, Forsaken World, LotRO, DDO and a handful of others. Nothing interests me like AO though :)

I like to try lots of new games and see what's going on out there and play with all the new ideas. No MMO has caught my interest like AO did and It's pretty rare for me to finish a single-player game more than once. I'm currently dividing my time between AO and Champions Online, but I'll likely be trying something new soon. Mostly betas and demos because I can see something new from a lot of different games that way for free. Well, there's "usually" something new.

I never tried WoW. I've seen enough of it over my friends' shoulders and heard more than enough to know it's not for me. I did try Dungeons and Dragons Online a while back, and I hear it's more to my liking now, but I haven't been back. I liked 9Dragons a lot, but Acclaim dropped that and there probably won't be much development in it now. I really liked Tabula Rasa, but seven years of development and only online for a year is not a good score. Rift was worth trying, but I didn't subscribe. Lord of the Rings Online I'm still considering trying, at least for a week or two. And there's that Earth and Beyond Emulator that I hear is playable now. I should take a look at that, too. So many games, so little time.

I'm actually NOT playing AO anymore. Left back in 2006 (or was it 2007?), little or no chance of me coming back.

Am playing AoC though. Wiccana server, US. Been there since launch, don't think I'll leave anytime soon. Also not an option to take the F2P, as the limitations are just WAY too restrictive.

Have played most AAA-title MMO's out there, but always seem to go back to Funcom's worlds. For all their quirks, oddities and strange things, I still love their games far too much to let go. Go figure.

I'm not sure I play AO. :p

Every now and again I will though. In fact last night I was out there trying to take care of some super secret stuff.

I've played AoC and I liked it, but not enough to keep playing. My interest starts to wane after Tortage. I think my highest level is probably 35? Something like that.

Other than that, just a lot of single-player games. No other MMO's in my future until The Secret Worlld comes out.

I haven't truly "played" AO for quite awhile. It's the social element (GSP) that kept me here for so long and still draws me back from time to time. I've played numerous MMO's over the years, but I've hit burnout with them. The levelling grind and need to rely on others just isn't my thing.

Lately, I've been happily focusing on single-player games...mostly RPG's. I'm a huge Bioware fan, and I'll replay their games over and over again. I constantly find new experiences from the same games by making different decisions, and I love that. I also love the stories. That's another element that I find lacking far too often in MMO's. AO started off really well in that department, but there hasn't been a true story element to AO for years.

When I'm not enjoying the Mass Effect or Dragon Age games, I'll hit the X-Box for some single-player fun. Rock Band/Guitar Hero, EA Sports NHL games, Resident Evil 5, UFC Undisputed...stuff like that.

Because Bioware is involved, I admit that I'm at least keeping an eye on Star Wars: The Old Republic. I don't know if an MMO will be able to draw me back in, but I'm at least intrigued by the story elements they're trying to add. Time will tell. I also, of course, will be keeping a close eye on The Secret World. While the first glimpses at the game haven't floored me, I'm very intrigued by the setting and possibilties for a social playground that may even be better than AO was.

In the meantime, I'll drool over every sneak peek they give for Mass Effect 3 and continue enjoying yet another jaunt through the worlds of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Who knows, maybe Baldur's Gate or KOTOR will even call to me again. I'm a very loyal gamer. :)

I think the first game I ever played was Asheron's Call for quite a while actually.. then I tried AO when it was still in beta but I crashed all the time so I gave up... didn't game for a long time, met my husband and tried EQ and Wow (hated Wow) then decided to give AO another chance.. and here I shall stay as has my hubby. :)

Asherons Call was my real starting point. A guy from work got me into it, but didnt get into the combat system.

I heard about AO on some forums and was really really excited about it. Had the box on release but it wouldnt run on my old POS. Was the first game I ever had to upgrade my machine for.

Kinda ran out of leveling steam in the 100's and got into social stuff and storyline events.

Played arond with a lot of other games, but I'm still dinkin arrond in AO and really enjoying GSP.
Dont play any games anymore, just AO when I hear a DJ and have time.

Hell yeah for 10 years. Hard to believe its still around, so many games bit the dust much faster.
