As in top 10 money earners in this biz we call music!!!

Now let's hear it for CHEESE!!! (errr oldies)

# U2, $130 million. first single 1980 - nuff said
# AC/DC, $114 million. - I grew up with these guys

I guess it depends on if its a newer Realtek or an older one. If its just a driver issue you can get one online, but I am not sure if you need the regular or the HD one. I'll post a few links where you can get some drivers and see if that helps.

http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/high-definition.html This one will work for "Realtek ALC 880, ALC 882, ALC 883, ALC 881, ALC 260 and ALC 262 High Definition (HD) audio chips"

Ohhh Aakasha Thankyou12 time to play - for those of you that think: "It's simple... downgrade your windows to XP (so Shoutcast works) then install an old as the hills sound card...... It doesn't freaking work that way... I have Win 7 64 bit with the latest realtek drivers and in modern games the sound is AWESOME!!!

Try foing back afew years and downgrading your installation and NOTHING fucking works...... It is pissing me the hell off!

If I could get 1 of 2 things to happen:
Win7 64 with Realtek onboard sound to talk to Shoutcast

Win7 64 Pro (Win XP compatible) to install an old SB VI sound card

Dual Boot Win XP (yes that old peace of junk OS) to install SB Live Vi AFTER realtek has been working on it..

Trust me when I say - the solutions are ANYTHING but simple!!!!!

I want to coe back
I want to play

Help me!

(now to play with some Aakasha stuffs)

What seems to be the problem with it "talking to shoutcast" ?

Tasty is using onboard Realtek soundcard in Windows 7 64-bit and it's working fine for her.

If you're having issues with gridstream talking to it that way, why not run winXP inside a virtual machine? I've used several that are reasonably easy to set up and it since your hardware already runs fine in win7 it shouldn't be a problem for your virtualized macine to take adavantage of it. Some of them even have 3d acceleration now making it much less painful to use.
My fiance and I both miss your show, so if I can help please let me know.
