Gridstream has brought me considerable amusement, distraction and genuine entertainment for a while now. I left AO for about a year because the society here seemed dwindling, antisocial and stagnant. WoW seemed to provide far more opportunities for interaction between players, and more activity in general. Unfortunately, IMO, the system just couldn't compete with AO's level of detail in character generation and advancement. So, I popped my head back in to RK2, and discovered a re-awakening of sorts in the player base. I do firmly believe Gridstream is partially responsible for not only keeping the culture alive, but helping to give it a pulse again. And now I'm back and quite happy to be here.
I've had a netradio show of my own for a few years over on another station, still do as a matter of fact. But I've finally taken the leap and submitted an application to DJ here on Gridstream. I may even get approved. LOL
Regardless of whether or not I become a DJ here, I just wanted to say thanx to GS and the AO family of players. I think I'll be at home here for a while to come, and it's all thanx to you fine folks.
