Happy 4th of July, everyone! Even if you're not in the US, just have a great day anyway! And preferably a barbeque... with lots of nice spicy marinated ribs and chicken... maybe try some of those roasted serranos... ooh, you're so lucky! Invite me please?

Oh, and careful with the fireworks. Don't blow up anything you're going to need later.

Happy Independence Day!!!

I'm going to a friend's party for fabulous food and many frosty beverages. But don't worry, we'll leave the handling of explosives to the professionals. :)

Yay, its finally another day that we watch thousands, no millions of dollars go up into smoke and colored sparks. Nothing against the 4th, but, someone needs to come up with a new form of fireworks that's not so horribly overpriced

We already have such fireworks. FunCom just doesn't go all out for holidays that only apply to one RK4 nation. That doesn't mean we couldn't schedule a party next year and coordinate with ARK Community Relations for some fireworks. Not a whole Official FC/ARK Event, just an ARK or two with no RK4 barbeque to attend setting off some fireworks for the rest of us who just wish we were tagging along with Valli. Call it a paleoanthropology party, reenacting some of the ancient traditions of our Old Earth ancestors. 28 milennia from now, I doubt anyone will be able to prove they don't have at least one American ancestor.

Wow! Happy super late 4th! I was out nearly all day celebrating with everyone under the sun. I do hope everyone has had an equally or greater time.

Prevention just showed up at Chai's show and started nuking Hope Bar to cinders, so I asked him about this idea. He said it sounded good to him, and the way to get it scheduled is to email crsubmissions@ark.anarchy-online.com ahead of time, but not this far ahead. Try in May, maybe early June. If I remember 10 months from now, I'll try to remind someone.
