Hi all, I had been asking around in Clan OOC channel about roleplay orgs, and someone mentioned this site to me. I played AO for a while about 3 or 4 years ago. I had a few low level characters (none higher than 40) and I mainly roleplayed. I had a lot of fun dressing up and decorating my house. But I ended up leaving the game because I got married and wanted to spend more time with my hubby. I've played a lot of online games since then, and I was delighted to see AO still around.

I've opened a free regular account and started a martial artist to get reacquainted with the game. I am currently playing Ostande, and I hope to upgrade my new account soon. I'm just looking for friends and fun and other roleplayers to hang around with, maybe joining an org with people with similar interests. Either contact me in game or right here if you have any advice or options for me. Thanks!

Over the last few weeks I have personally seen over three global RP events. Things are still quite lively around Friday evening - Sunday afternoon.

www.ao-universe.com is a good site, and I think a lot of the RP stuff is posted there.

There is more of a RP scene going on in Rimor in Newland... as for Atlantean there are some but, from my experience, its harder to get involved with than on Rimor.

Oh thank you all. Perhaps I will make a character on Rimor then What servers does gridstream throw parties on? I am on Eastern usa time if that helps, and i tend to play early in the day, although sometimes i do wake up at 3 am, haha!

Some GSP DJs alternate between RK1 and RK2 every week. Others are usually on RK1 and only occasionally on RK2. RK1 just generally tends to get a better turnout, so they tend to get more shows, but RK2 isn't entirely neglected. RK0 only gets one show a month, MMOATP, typically on the last Sunday of the month. Even RK4 got a GSP show at the last Dragon Con, but that's rare. The only dimension GSP doesn't have shows on is RK3. They have their own station.

RP is pretty quiet nowdays, but there is still some of us left.

great, well now I have Ostande on RK1 and Badzet on RK2, so I can show up and play anywhere. Been busy with just setting up my apartments, and collecting a decent wardrobe on both characters. (I know, I'm such a girl!)
But I'm not neglecting actually playing the game and leveling entirely. Thank you all so much for the help!
