Where's the Clondyke Credit Scam?

Just wanted to give all GSP fans a heads-up on the latest spam and a sure-fire way to know it's not legit. This is what I received earlier in a private message:

First off, everyone should know those who would be sending any type of admin message from here, it would be signed with a name instead of "forum administration." You know the names of GSP personnel, if there was an issue one of them would contact you.

Secondly, "effectmeds.com?" yeah that certainly sounds like an antivirus site, I can tell by the full address antivirus.effectmeds.com. /sarcasm
Speaking of which, I do have issues with username ending that addi and it gives me further reason to distrust the link.

Third, if you've spammed someone the same site a week ago from a different login you created and were subsequently banned when word got out... making a new name and changing the prefix of the effectmeds site still will fail.


In short, this is the internet, don't trust someone you don't know for your own safety. Gridstream will take care of spammers like this when discovered as they always have in the past. It impossible to pre-emtively strike at those who would poison our forums with this crap but it always seems to get handled quickly. Thank you GSP! ...and no thank you spammer!

Quite so. I disabled her account earlier today. I got suspicious seeing a new user with the name Lady_Admin. A quick google search confirmed it.
