I have a Twitter account and I subscribe to sms notifications anytime there is a post by either @gridstream or @gridstreamtsw. As long as the DJ remembers to post it I get the update from either stream. For me this works out better than it would to have the player notify me because I don't need to be near my computer to get the notification.

The polls served their purpose (so it's un-stickied). Some things in the new player has been changed based on these polls. Now the poll originated from before just before the merger plans.
The way this info is presented might be changed in the future based on feedback on the new player.
The new player is currently scheduled to launch at the same time as the GridStream AO and GridStream TSW website merger.
