According to the post, the timelines for doing a full implementation with Cheetah were about the same as fixing all the hardships and forcing Ogre to work within the confines of AO... So Cheetah it is.

I think this is a good move.. Cheetah is a stable engine, and as proof both Dreamfall and AoC are stunning graphical games... This can only be a good thing

OGRE is a great engine though, kinda sad to see it dropped by a major publisher.

Seems like a great idea to me...sad for people who have been trying to get it working on OGRE but other than I personally don't see a downside.
