Dunno if the version that is in the GEICO commercials is a remix or not, but the original version of the song has been played at least once (and prolly several time, especially around Halloween) here on GSP.

the site says its a remake by Mysto & Pizzi (?). I like it though.. its catchy even if it is just a marketing ploy. I was glad to get a free mp3 of it from em. Considering I'm not too fond of much out of the 80's aside from concrete blonde.. I doubt I'd like the original if I had listened to it.
http://www.geico.com/about/commercials/music/ clicky that if anyone cares. And I swear I'm not tring to provoke geiko sales.. I use allstate myself...

I'm happy it helped someone. I caught myself dancing in my pc chair several times when the commercial came on then when I found it offered free and that more than just the part played in the commercial was good (unlike charmed theme song) it just seemed such a waste not to share the info. Where better to share it than by far the most off the beaten path web radio station I have ever listened to. It may not be true everywhere but where I live.. very little that ever plays on gsp is considered mainsteam but I love that as how nothing mainstream has seemed worth my time since the 90's. Most all of the music I listen to is stuff that I'm fairly sure I'm the only one in my small town that even knows of most of the artists. However I was thrilled to find that lots of it gets play time on gsp depending on who is doing the show and lots of other great things that I'm glad I found out about. I do live in a very.. unfortunate.. part of the US though. Everything new on music channels on TV or FM radio these days is mostly trash. The emo pop movement has even almost made me depressed because of what it has done to music as a whole. but.. thats just me i guess.
